The picture to the right shows one of the signs erected by the State that indicates to the public that the John T. Coffee Camp has "adopted" that segment of highway for trash removal. The Camp pick-up runs 1.5 miles. Counting both sides of the road, we are keeping a total of 3 miles of shoulder clean. Typically, Camp members go out once per quarter for pick-up work.

In addition to the highway shoulder trash removal work, the John T. Coffee Camp also takes care of trash removal on the road into the Sac Osage Park as well as the park it's self. A picnic is typically offered to members, friends, and auxiliary who participate in this volunteer effort or to folks who drop by to offer their moral support. This is one small way that the Camp shows its thanks to our members, Camp Auxiliary, and friends.

Mystery Men cleaning up...we don't know who they are (-:

The Camp Auxiliary always helps with the food. The Coffee Camp is the most blessed Camp when it comes to our wives and  girlfriends, who while not eligible to join the Camp, are important active participants nonetheless.

Compatriot Fast doing the cooking and his wife Pauline assisting. Or is it Pauline that is doing all the work, while letting Jerry look like he is working? We may never know! (-:

You can't see all the flags, but we have several besides what you can see. Starting from the far left we have the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd National Confederate flags. Coffee Camp flag, Missouri State Guard flag, the Missouri Battle flag, and the Black flag.
